Welcome to our villa in Northern Cyprus:

Completed in 2006, `Bougainvillea' is set just outside the peaceful village of Alsancak, nestling in the Kyrenia mountains, approximately 10 km west of the beautiful medieval port of Kyrenia/Girene. The accommodation comprises of a fully equipped kitchen diner, a spacious living room and three double bedrooms, two with en-suite facilities, (there is also a third shower room downstairs). The villa itself has been attractively furnished with comfortable sofas and chairs and dining facilities which accommodate up to 6 people with ease. It also has a first floor terrace where you can relax and enjoy the views over the mountains.

Outside, the villa is newly landscaped with beautiful mediterranean plants featuring plenty of its namesake `bougainvillea' in a profusion of pinks and purples throughout the summer. The villa also boasts a 10 x 5 m private swimming pool with roman steps and a terrace equipped with a table and chairs where you can relax and eat al-fresco whilst enjoying the mediterranean sun. Other facilities include a Gas BBQ, sun beds with padded cushions, sun parasols and private parking for your hire car. The Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus is arguably one the most natural and beautiful parts of the island of Cyprus. The weather is generally good from April right through to October, though it can be cool in the evenings at the beginning and the end of the season.

Approximately a 10 km drive from the villa is the medieval port of Kyrenia. Here you can visit the castle and museum, take a boat trip or just while away the hours in one of the many bars and restaurants that Kyrenia has to offer .

Approximately a 15 km drive from the villa, up in the Kyrenia mountains is Bellapaise Abbey. Here you can wander round the Abbey remains and enjoy the peaceful and serene gardens and stunning views across the countryside

Another of Northern Cyprus' great attractions is the amphitheater and Palace of Salamis. This takes about an hour to reach by car but is well worth the effort as the statues and mosaics are some of the best to be found in Northern Cyprus.

There are plenty of good beaches to be found along the coast, the nearest of which is about 10 minutes away by car at Mare Monte. The locals are friendly and they love children so it makes Northern Cyprus the perfect place to take a family holiday
